Mr. Caldwell presents quite the Pro Russian view in his latest New York Times column, “The War in Ukraine May Be Impossible to Stop. And The U.S. Deserves Much of The Blame,” where he justifies annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea, accuses western news reports of belittling Putin and blames United States for Ukrainians dying at the hands of Russians.
Opinion pieces belong in our free world and should not be repressed but the authors of such articles must carry public responsibility especially when their thoughts misrepresent reality.
